You have to walk a little to reach this legendary and popular sweet shop but it's totally worth it! I was in Mahim and craved the iconic Mahim Halwa, also known as Ice halwa; when the first result that Google showed was this adorable little shop. Fresh delicacies at a completely reasonable price! The taste is simply wow ❤️

“Joshi Budhakaka” (literaly means Old Uncle) creator of the legendary “Mahim Halva” a sweetmeat shop in bylanes of Kapad Bazar area of Mahim Mumbai still mantains and operate from where Ghanshyambhai’s (in second photo) Great Great Great.. Grandfather started 240 years ago! For those like me who schooled and played here, can vouch for atleast the past 50 years of mouthwatering-melting fine layers of sweet magic made as per their age old receipe, which many try to mimic but just cant match!

After long time Google map suggest excellent destination. Sweets are awesome..I like butterscotch burfi more than anything and mahim halawa is also good...all working peoples so polite, honest and having helping nature...
